Amarinth offers API 610 pumps for the West Qurna-2 growth venture in Iraq

Amarinth has delivered two separate orders of API 610 pumps, collectively price £1.2 million, for the West Qurna-2 expansion project in Iraq.

West Qurna-2, located roughly sixty five km north-west of the seaport town of Basra, is considered one of the world’s greatest onshore oilfields. The growth venture is predicted to extend the oilfield’s manufacturing capacity from the current four hundred,000 barrels oil per day (bpd) to 480,000 bpd, with a goal to attain a total production capacity of 800,000 bpd by 2025.
