Flender is increasing the portfolio of its versatile coupling series N-Eupex by introducing three new types. The new merchandise enable users extra flexibility of their techniques without losing the compact design and high load capacity of a pin coupling.
The new N-Eupex ERN is provided with a torque limiter, which provides even more
safety within the drivetrain in lots of functions. The coupling variant permits customers to
specify a most torque so that critical torques for the motor and output machine
usually are not transmitted. Machines and systems are protected from overload and
injury, thus considerably increasing system availability.
With the N-Eupex B plus clamping component, Flender introduces a second new
coupling that ensures frictionally engaged clamping connections. In this case, the
plain, cylindrical machine shaft end is linked to the coupling hub via a clamping
connection without a feather key and service capability is increased. For instance,
meeting or alternative of worn elastomers can be carried out much more easily.
No connecting machine parts must be moved, the time required is halved
and so is the downtime of the machine.
With เกจแรงดันน้ำ -Eupex DKS, a brand new double-cardanic coupling is introduced as a “short
version” into Flender’s modular system. While the DK kind, which was launched in
2020, addresses the pump market with standard enlargement pieces for normed shaft
distances, the DKS is the shortest possible double-cardanic answer for the market.
The shortened general size allows cost-optimized use with a small shaft distance
dimension with out shedding the advantages of a double-cardanic coupling connection.
New elastomers for the pin couplings spherical off the modular extensions. In addition
to the beforehand used rubber elements made from NBR, Flender now additionally offers
elastomers made of thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU). Following the torque
improve for all N-Eupex couplings with NBR packings in 2020, using TPU
packings permits the power density to be elevated by one other 20 percent on
average. For sizes 300 and above, the familiar NBR elastomer is combined with
material inserts and the torque capacity is again raised.
“With a view to the long tradition of cam couplings, our development engineers are
systematically engaged on rising the variety of combos even further. The
2022 enhancements give our users a variety of sustainable choices for
optimizing their machines and systems much more and reducing maintenance,”
explains André Artmann, Head of Coupling Sales.
