In these contemporary times in which we reside in, it is very common to confuse reality with thought, facts with theory, and health with confirmation. Real food, which is basically vegetables and fruit, nutrition wise at least (as much would argue on the taste factor), may be the foundation of any healthy diet, not because it is indeed important and healthy to eat a well balanced diet with vegetables inside it, but simply because it is food. The others is not food. It may be hard to grasp in the beginning, peeping through the tiny crack that all folks have inside our definitions of what food is, and seeing the reality behind the screen of illusion.
Health, true health, can’t be achieved and maintained in any other way. But what’s health? I dare you! Try to define it for yourselves. Go ahead, take a minute, even 5, and really try to write down a definition you’ll feel at ease with for the vague and illusive concept of health.
